Election day has come and gone and now the results are trickling in from Placer and Sacramento counties. I currently have the lead in total votes received in Placer County, but those numbers could change as results continue to be released.
While the numbers are trending in my favor, the election will not be won until all votes are counted in Placer and Sacramento counties. All signs are pointing to me winning one of the two open seats on the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School Board (K-8).
We are also pulling for David Corbridge (the other “Dad for Dry Creek”) who stands a chance of pulling out second place if he continues to outpace the other candidates as the rest of the votes are reported. (Dave also made some big gains overnight)
So, we don’t want to count our eggs before they hatch, but it is looking good for our campaign at this juncture. If you want to look at the results as they come in you can check the two links below for voting results for each county.

Thank you again to everyone who voted and help get out the vote for this important race!
I hope you all have a great day as we look forward to what the future holds for our region and our country.
